zulfikar-ali-bhuttoAfter the filing of presidential reference, the Supreme Court of Pakistan goes to reopen the Zulfikar Ali Bhutto case on April thirteen, 2011.

Federal Secretary of Law Masood Chishty filed the reference within the apex court on Saturday, once President Asif Ali Zardari signed it seeking reopening the case of former prime minister and PPP founder who was hanged on April four, 1979, in Rawalpindi.

PPP staff largely believe ZAB was hanged owing to ‘flawed judgment’.

Zardari Monday vowed to rectify the historical wrong of the “judicial murder”, and said currently it absolutely was the requirement of the judiciary to clear its record.

Addressing an oversized gathering at Gharhi Khuda Bux at the mausoleum of the Shaheeds of Bhutto family on the thirty second death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto within the early hours of Monday, the President said he had filed a reference and desired the record to be corrected.

“We don’t seem to be like Cromwell. we have a tendency to don’t seem to be seeking revenge. we would like the history to record that a wrong was committed and it has to be corrected.”
