Four missing coal miners have “very very little chance” for survival during a southwest Pakistan mine that collapsed once a methane gas explosion Sunday, a government official said.

At least forty eight of the fifty two miners within the mine were confirmed dead, however simply twenty eight of the bodies had been recovered by Monday evening, in keeping with Sardar Aslam Bizenjo, the minister for irrigation in Balochistan province.

“There is incredibly very little probability of survival for remaining four,” he said Monday.

The mine within the Soringe space, thirty five kilometers (about twenty two miles) east of Quetta, caved in Sunday once the explosion.
