Musharraf’s appeal of re-examination
Sind High Court turned down a request from retired military dictator Genenral (retd) Pervez Musharraf to again look into the Exit Control List matter so that he could fly out of country. It took 15 days to SHC to reach this rejection.

On 12th of June, SHC has invalidated federal government’s order to disallow overseas travel for Musharraf maintaining that aggrieved party had to wait for 12 days for decision, though counsel of dictator has pleaded for expediting. This stalling of federal government gave enough breathing space to the plaintiff to file a formal request with the Supreme Court.
